Stained glass in a wooden frame with embossed copper centre
Traditional stained glass with an embossed copper centre, in a square wooden frame
This piece was made by a traditional technique dating to the 11th and 12th centuries, as seen in windows of old churches. Coloured glass pieces are held together by lengths of lead and solder. This piece includes an embossed copper centrepiece backed with oak, and is mounted in a hand-made wooden frame.
The glass measures 18 x 18 cm, and the frame 23 x 23 cm
The leaded glass is suitable for indoor or outdoor use, and could be mounted in a door, for instance. It can be hung using cord, chain, or strong fishing line. (Not included.)
This piece contains lead. Keep it away from children, pets, and food.
Clean with a soft cloth.
