It’s a month now since we went to Devon, and we stopped at Exeter on the way down. We arrived at Exeter Cathedral at about four o’clock on a gloriously sunny afternoon, and it turned out to be the perfect time to take photographs of the stonework and stained glass. The higher up the outside [...]

Yesterday we went to a Live Crafts food & craft fair at Mapledurham House. The highlights of the day for us turned out to be the food fair, and the birds of prey. Ben Potter had brought along owls, eagles, a kite and a vulture. Sadly we missed most of the actual displays, but Bramley the [...]

Paul and I got married on Hallowe’en, which was absolutely ages ago, and whilst I showed you the honeymoon pictures, I haven’t yet posted any pictures of the wedding itself! Because most wedding photos are of people you don’t know, I decided to concentrate on showing you the things that we made ourselves, or that [...]

These are all the things I’ve made during 2009 – or at least all the ones I’ve remembered to photograph! There doesn’t seem to be very much knitting in there, which surprises me, although I did spend most of the summer working on two large items which aren’t finished yet. I also still haven’t really [...]

I went for a walk in the snow this morning. I took a grand total of 99 pictures, then came back and edited them down to just 9. I went out rather early, so although there was a lot of light reflecting from the snow, it wasn’t really daylight yet. As a result a lot [...]
